About Courageous Kids Club
Courageous Kids Club was created to help neurodivergent kids feel seen, understood, and supported—and to help the adults who love them feel less alone.
I’m Adam, an occupational therapist since 2012 and a dad to two adopted neurodivergent kids. Like a lot of parents and caregivers, I know that the hard moments at home can feel confusing, exhausting, and deeply personal. I also know that many families are looking for support that feels gentle, practical, and emotionally safe.
Courageous Kids Club began in my own home.
I started creating simple stories, visuals, and reflection tools to help my boys make sense of big feelings, body clues, daily challenges, and the moments that can quickly spiral. Over time, I saw how much easier it became to connect through story than through correction, pressure, or long explanations in the middle of a hard moment. I then started giving them out to my patients and clients and received immensely positive feedback. After many other parents and colleagues recommended I share these stories and visuals with more people, this is how this club started.
That is the heart of these letters.
Each Courageous Kids Club letter is designed to feel like a warm, supportive bridge between parent and child. The stories feature Micah and Diego, two neurodivergent brothers inspired by my own kids. Every letter also includes reflection prompts and caregiver guidance so families can use the story in a way that feels simple, supportive, and doable at home.
These letters are not about “fixing” kids.
They are about helping children feel more understood, helping caregivers find better language and calmer connection points, and creating small moments of support that add up over time.
If you’re here, you may be parenting or caring for a child who feels deeply, gets overwhelmed easily, struggles with transitions, or experiences the world in a way that others don’t always understand. If that’s you, I want you to know you are not alone.
Courageous Kids Club was built for families like yours.
