FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Courageous Kids Club?

Courageous Kids Club is a monthly mailed letter for neurodivergent kids and the grown‑ups who love them.
Each letter includes a gentle story featuring Micah and Diego, simple reflection prompts, and OT‑informed caregiver guidance to help your child feel seen, understood, and supported at home.

Who is this for?

Courageous Kids Club is designed for neurodivergent kids ages roughly 3–16 and their caregivers.
It’s especially helpful for families who want more support with emotional regulation, routines, and connection at home—whether or not they currently receive therapy or school services.

How does it work?

You choose the letter option that fits your family, add it to your cart, and check out.
Each month, I mail a printed letter to your child with a simple, colorful story and follow‑up questions on the back.
You’ll also get a short caregiver note with practical, OT‑informed ideas you can use right away at home.

How often will we receive letters?

Letters are mailed once per month on the 15th of the month.
If you order during the month, you’ll receive the current month’s letter as soon as it’s processed, and future letters will arrive monthly after that.

What ages are the letters best for?

Most families find the letters work well for kids approximately 3–16 years old.
Younger kids may enjoy you reading the story aloud and talking through the pictures, while older kids may prefer reading independently and then checking in with you about the reflection prompts.

Are the letters only for autistic or ADHD kids?

No. The letters are created with neurodivergent kids in mind—including autistic, ADHD, and other neurodivergent profiles—but many families with highly sensitive, anxious, or otherwise “big feelings” kids also find them helpful.
You know your child best; if you’re drawn to these letters, they are likely a good fit.

Do you offer digital versions?

From time to time I offer free or low‑cost digital downloads (PDFs) that you can print at home.
However, the main Courageous Kids Club experience is the physical letter that arrives in your mailbox each month.

Where do you ship?

Right now I ship within the United States.
If you live outside the U.S. and are interested, please contact me so I can learn where you’re located and explore options for the future.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is included in the price of your mailed letter(s).

When will our letter arrive?

Once your order is placed, I prepare your first letter and send it out as part of the next mailing batch.
Most U.S. families receive their letter within 7–10 business days after it has been mailed, depending on USPS delivery times in your area.

What if my letter is lost, damaged, or doesn’t arrive?

If your letter is lost or arrives damaged, please contact me with your order number and mailing address.
I’ll be happy to send a replacement letter so your child doesn’t miss out that month.

Can I purchase just one letter to try it?

Yes. You can start with a single “try it once” letter if you want to see how your child responds before committing to more months.
If you love it, you can come back to order a multi‑month option.

Is this a subscription?

Right now, all options in my shop are set up as one‑time purchases, even if you choose a multi‑month bundle (for example, 3 months of letters).
That means you won’t be charged automatically again—you’re always in control of when and how you reorder.

Can I cancel or change my order?

If you need to change your shipping address or cancel an order, please reach out as soon as possible.
If your letter has not yet been mailed, I’ll do my best to update or cancel your order; once it has shipped, I’m not able to cancel that month’s letter.

Do you offer refunds?

Because each letter is printed and mailed specifically for your order, I’m generally not able to offer refunds once a letter has shipped.
However, if there’s a problem with your order, please contact me—my goal is to make sure you and your child feel supported, not stressed.

Who creates the letters?

All letters are written and developed by me, an occupational therapist (OT) and parent of neurodivergent kids.
I draw on my clinical background and lived experience to keep each story gentle, practical, and grounded in real‑life family dynamics.

How can I contact you?
