Why I created these letters
I’m Adam, an occupational therapist since 2012 and dad to two adopted neurodivergent kids. I first created simple visuals and stories for my own home to help my boys feel understood and supported through hard moments. After other families began asking for similar tools, I created Courageous Kids Club so more parents could have something tangible, gentle, and affirming to use at home.

Who this is for
This letter is designed for a wide range of developmental levels, not a strict age bracket. You can read it aloud, summarize it, or use it as a conversation starter. The goal is to help your child feel seen, build language for their inner world, and practice regulation with you on their team.

What if my child struggles with reading or attention?

That’s okay. You can read the story aloud, summarize it, or use only one section at a time. PLUS you can hang it up in your home somewhere as a visual reminder for YOU or your kiddo.
